Summer Rowing with OIRA

Summer rowing is here. There are opportunites to row with OIRA through the Summer. Contact one of the coaches below to make an appointment to row or come down for a Saturday morning session. There will be someone at the boathouse Saturday mornings 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. starting June 5th.

If you are an adult club member in good standing and have passed all the required tests and taken one of our beginner sculling classes or demonstrated equivalent capability you can request a key to the boathouse.

All rowing activity should be logged in the logbook at the boathouse.

Here is a form we need to have completed and signed before you can row. All rowers need to complete the USR waiver form. Minors need to have their parents sign the form. If we aready have a copy signed in 2009 then you are OK. Save time by printing the form and bringing it in completed and signed.

• US Rowing Waiver
  

Experienced visiting rowers are welcome to come and row with us. The boathouse is only open when a coach is there. So contact one of the coaches to make an appointment to row. There is a modest fee for visitors. If you want to row regularly you should buy an annual or season club membership.

Fees are as follows:

• Annual adult membership = $250.00. A great deal for year round rowing.
• Visiting adult guests = $25.00 per session.
• Visiting student guests = $10.00 per session.
• OIRA alumni under 25, in school or unable to afford the fee = free.

So long as you are a member of US Rowing in good standing we will waive any fees for your first row with us. We want to meet you and hope you will become a friend of OIRA.
